harrys myth
Once Upon a Time lived Tanemahuta and a Maori Princess they lived in a village together. The village was next to a large forest.
Tane Mahuta was the God of forests and birds. He protected all the trees and all the birds in the forest.
One day the Maori princess left the village and went for a walk. She walked deep into the forest She went to see the trees and the birds. She walked for a long time and before she know it she was lost. She sat down and cried and cried. She cried so much her tears turned into rain.
Tanemahuta could not understand why it was raining so much when it was such a sunny day. He looked around the village for the Maori Princess but could not see her. But see rain clouds over the Forest. So he decided to and see why it was raining. The deeper he walked into the forest the more rain there was. All of the sudden he saw the Maori Princess. “Why are you crying”? he said. “I am lost in this forest” said the Maori Princess. Tanemahuta said “you have cried so much that your tears have turned into rain”.
Tane mahuta took the Princess back to the village. The rain in the forest stopped.
Now everytime it rains the princess thinks about the time she was lost in the forest and Tanemahuta rescued her.

my camp poem
That was living springs camp
I remember when i went on camp
I remember ice cream and pudding
That was the greatest thing i taste
I remember we ate pasta with ham in it
I remember we went swiming
That was fun i remember having burgers and chips
I remember sharing a cabin with my friends
